CareMarie: Tell us a little bit about yourself:
Lolita The Gothic: I'm a 20 year old photographer, web-designer, and illustrator. I am currently in college, studying Applied Communications. And I like to write fan fictions as a hobby.

CareMarie: How did you get introduced into Fan Fiction?
Lolita The Gothic: I first got introduced to them in 2006, I used to read a lot Fan Fictions related to Japanese Anime in fan-forums. Then somewhere along the way, a member from those forums posted their link to FanFiction.net and that made me see just how big the world of fan-fiction really is. And it also encouraged me to give writing a chance, and the rest is history.

CareMarie: Do you remember the first story you read?
Lolita The Gothic: I dont exactly remember much about it, but it was a short love story. Its shocking honestly, but I dont see my self as a romantic person, which is ironic since I write romance fiction, but reading my very first fanfic story made me realize that I have all these emotions inside, and writing in the form of a story was a way for me to let them out.

Gemmalisax: I always hate this part, *Laughs*. Well, I'm 29yrs old, a single mother of two fantastic and highly independant girls. I'm a housewife, or a stay at home mum or whatever it is that they call someone that spends way too much time within the fandom while watching the children and keeping house, *laughs*. I read a lot and now write a lot and I am also staff on the Darkest Temptations blog and the soon to be live Twitrite HQ blog.

CareMarie: How did you get introduced into Fan Fiction?
Gemmalisax: My sister literally dragged me to the computer at my parents house, sat me down and ordered me to read. As cheesy as it sounds, I really did never look back and I've been hooked ever since. It gave me the ability to stay in the Twilight world which I loved and do here I am.

CareMarie: Do you remember the first story you read?
Gemmalisax: Family Therapy: Cullen Style. It was so funny, and a brilliant take on the Twilight world. I sat and read it the whole way through after my sister sat my arse in the chair. It was awesome.

CareMarie: Is there a story behind your pen name? No, LOL. Not really. It's my first and middle name combined. The 'X' was added when I joined twitter, and I changed my pen name accordingly.
