Why I'm waiting: I've just finished the first five books in the series, and holy alien babies, were they fantastic! Each book has gotten better than the last. I love that, while each book focuses on a romantic pair, all the couples from the previous books make vital appearances in the next, adding more depth to this brotherhood of assassins and criminals while building on the subtle series arc that reached its pinnacle in the last two books. I cannot wait for the Sentella to scatter the League's remains across the universe.

And I've been waiting so long for Hauk's story, since book one actually. I'm so damn giddy for it, I'm tap dancing. Born of Fury will finally reveal what hurt the hulking Hauk so much to dislike women, and he will, hopefully, meet his match.

If you're a fan of dark, action-packed paranormal romance, a little bit of science fiction, and some steamy sex but have yet to start The League Gen 1 series, you must! It's one of my favs.
