“What are you doing?” Edward asks.

“I thought I saw something glitter.”

“Maybe it was the TV . . . being on?”

“Shut up. I lost something. I’m just looking for it.”

“What did you lose?”

“I don’t know.”

“What do you mean you don’t know?”

“I just know I lost something. Something small.”

“And apparently glittery.” Edward snickers, getting up from the couch. He throws the remote onto the coffee table and heads to the kitchen. “How do you not know what you lost?”

“I don’t know.” But I’ll know when I find it.
