Guest Review by Read 'n Love 2Gether — "Monster" by The.Bloody White.Wolf.xoxo

"Monster" by The.Bloody White.Wolf.xoxo
Emmett & OC, Angst, Romance, MA/NC-17
Summary: I am a monster—born to protect, yet living only to kill. My humanity is gone, all until one harmless glance changes everything. Just one glance has bound two sworn enemies together. But is it fate or a joke? Can one who has lost herself be found again by another? Or is this another dark, dirty, trick of my own mind? A forbidden passion, heat, and intense anger—this is no fairytale.
Content Warnings: Alcohol abuse and graphic violence

The.Bloody White.Wolf.xoxo's "Monster" is a gripping tale of action, angst, romance, and fluff that teaches a common lesson: sometimes the biggest obstacle in our lives is ourselves.

My first encounter with "Monster" was late in the night when I caught the attention of it, and I started the first chapter in a half-awake stage. I was interested, and something kept me reading. Before I knew it, I was on chapter 20. I was awake by then, as the fantastic attention to detail kept me reading. I saw that the first four chapters of the second part were an exposition and thought I would stop. But, just my luck: I got to the 25th chapter and the happenings had me hooked. Hours passed as I read all the way through to the 50th, and I was awed by this fic.

This isn't your common fic, and I believe that because of that, this undiscovered gem has yet to be discovered. "Monster" is the tale of a Quileute woman by the name of Jordan Uley. She has struggled through her childhood filled with hardships, which eventually build into a stunning fury that's bottled up into her until she explodes and ends up losing herself to the 'monster' within herself.

Guest Review by @credoroza — Forever Hold Your Peace by Jake's Girl

"Forever Hold Your Peace" by Jake's Girl of @JBNP
Jacob & Bella, Romance/Drama, MA/NC-17, Complete
Summary: What Jacob do you know would 'Forever Hold His Peace?' A little three shot. How IT should have gone down, for us wolf girls, anyway!

“If anyone knows why this man and this woman should not be joined in holy matrimony let them speak now, or forever hold their peace... forever hold your peace... for fucking ever...”
Even an Edward lover can enjoy a wolf fic when written well regardless of the pairing. Then again, a good story is a good story I always say and you shouldn't be afraid to give something different a try.

"Forever Hold Your Peace" is just that kind of story.

The story starts out with Bella on her wedding day. And typical of the Bella-ism we always find, she is chewing her lip, nervous, and torn with who she wants to be with. We all know the story, Bella loving both Edward and Jacob.

Personally, I never went in for the triangle and can always appreciate a writer who can realistically untangle the web Twilight created for us.

Jake's Girl gives us the flip side of BD, of what could have happened if Jacob did follow through and reached for what he really wanted...Bella. And though only three chapters long, the story is packed full of emotion starting with shock, confusion, hurt, and finally, understanding.

And no Edward bashing which is always a plus for me.

Jake's Girl weaves the story in a very believable manner where Edward knows deep down Bella belongs with Jacob and graciously steps aside. You have to read it to see how that happens but I can tell you this, it was masterful.

And there is a little added perk for the Non-Alice fans like me. Jeepers, she has ruined many a story for me. Jakes's Girl gives us a nice little jab at her and delivered wonderfully by Bella. Hallelujah!

"Forever Hold Your Peace" was a very likable little story.

If your a Jacob/Bella fan, you will absolutely love it.

And even if your an Edward lover, you will definitely have a smile on your face while reading.

You go, Jake's Girl! Very well done!

Give the story a try, I am certain you will be pleased and start stalking around JBNP looking for some more stories that give a really nice balance for us all.

I do. ♥♥♥

Guest Review by @credoroza — "The Beginning of Our Bright Future" by @Qwoli_Wahine

"The Beginning of Our Bright Future" by Sparkling Fae
Embry & Bella, Romance/Drama, MA/NC-17, Complete
Summary: She has a painful past and he has a lonely present. Can they forge a brighter future together?

"The Beginning of Our Bright Future" is quite the departure for me. This is my first Embry/Bella fic and I am very pleased to say, I really liked this little story.

The story was only three chapters so I figured I would give a whirl, and I am so glad I did.

Sparkling Fae has the ability to weave a believable story line that even a die hard Edward lover like me can enjoy and go along with. The mark of a true story teller. After all, a good story is a good story.

The story takes place after New Moon with Bella and Jake as friends, hanging out in the garage fixing motorcycles. Embry is already part of the pack, but Jake has yet to phase and is still confused over "Paul's lackeys" as he refers to the pack.
Embry, upset over Jake's cutting remarks, after all they were best friends. But knowing he must keep his silence as Jake's turn will come one day, it still hurts.

Embry notices Bella, never really paying much attention to her any other time, but today his entire world shifted ...

My eyes slowly met hers and I felt like the whole earth had shifted. Everything that used to matter to me vanished and in its place was just one person, Bella Swan. I had just imprinted on Isabella Swan.

Embry is completely overwhelmed by this, not sure what to do, let alone how to handle, and in need of guidance. He knows this will be a problem. He knows how hurt Jake will be. He knows Bella may refuse him. But he can not help himself. His wolf is crying out to her and he must follow.

The story is packed full of overwhelming emotions neatly woven in to a simplistic story line of love and acceptance. You will be cheering for Embry and Bella. I know I was!

And if you are hesitant about OCC pairings, this is a nice way to ease yourself in. No Edward bashing. Just a fun little story that puts a smile on your face.

"The Beginning of Our Bright Future" is a story you will want to check out. After all, who doesn't love a story that makes you smile? You won't be disappointed.

Fun fact: Sparkling Fae is known as @Qwoli_Wahine on Twitter. Naturally, my nosy side kicked in and I was curious about her user name. And this is what the lovely Sparkling Fae told me, it is a mix of Quileute and Hawaiian. Qwoli means in essence, spirit wolf and Wahine means woman.

How cool is that??

Guest Review by @Kraftychik: "To Claim His Mate" by ShavehC

"To Claim His Mate" by ShavehC
Jacob & Bella, Romance/Fantasy, AU, MA/NC-17, WIP
Summary: Formally a two shot, now a full story! Isabella is returning home after the death of her father. A car crash lands her in the mansion of Alpha Jacob Black. Once Jacob recognizes Isabella as his mate will he ever let her leave?

"To Claim His Mate" is truly intriguing from the first sentence. We find ourselves in a LaPush like we've never seen before. This Bella is very independent and strong, and I find that to be amazing. This Jacob is mysterious and dark. I actually found myself feeling unsure of him at first, but after reading on, I have realized why he is the way he is. She had added a unique history to our beloved wolf pack and has woven Bella into that history pefectly. I am eager to read more into it as the story progresses.

ShavehC really pulls the reader into this world with her interesting writing style and plot points. I was so happy that she decided to continue it after the first two chapters. I have thoroughly enjoyed this story and find myself checking ff.net often for updates, just in case I haven't gotten the email. If you like suspense and mystery in your stories, this one is definitely one to check out!

Deviant Guest Review by @shelikethesound: "The War is Over" by @MariahajilE

"The War Is Over" by MariahajilE
Angela & Edward, Angst/Drama, All Human, MA/NC-17, Complete
Summary: Lies. Betrayal. Pain. A story of finally getting what you want and hurting everyone in the process. AH, ExB, ExA, AxBen. M for language and lemons.

"The War Is Over" is told from Angela’s point of view, giving us a glimpse into what it’s like to be the other woman. She’s best friends with Bella but is having an affair with Edward, Bella’s boyfriend. The subject matter is very controversial, polarizing, and not for the faint of heart.

I’ll admit it. I’ve never been a fan of stories centered around cheating. I’m a tough customer to convince that kind of treachery can be redeemed. And at first glance, this seems to be just another one I’d flounce. Once I began reading, though, I couldn’t walk away from it.

From the start, Angela knows what she’s doing is wrong. And she agonizes over it. Her feelings for Edward are what makes her commit such an unforgivable act. It’s her way of getting what she’s always wanted, even if all Edward can give is his body.

Deviant Guest Review by @credoroza: "Beautiful Savage" by @Vampiremama

"Beautiful Savage" by readingmama (@vampiremama)
Edward & Bella, Romance/Drama, All Human, MA/NC-17, Complete
Summary: After getting lost in the woods on a camping trip, Bella finds a man who is living a different life. Can two such different worlds mesh when communication is nearly impossible?

After getting lost in the woods on a camping trip, Bella finds a man who is living a different life. Can two such different worlds mesh when communication is nearly impossible?

His eyes jumped out at her first. Intense and dark, so much that at first glance, one would probably just assume his eyes were brown, but they were in fact green. His eyelashes were long and curled in a way that any woman would be jealous of. His face was tanned and covered in a thick beard that was almost a burgundy color. His hair, although dirty, was a color that Bella had never seen before. Not quite red and not quite golden, it couldn't be called anything but bronze. Then her eyes shifted down his neck, and she found herself gasping again. He was naked. He was naked and he was pressing his face to hers, rubbing his dusty cheek against hers and then down the back of her neck, locking them together at the crook.

When I stumbled across this story, I was enthralled, yes, enthralled. There have been some "wild man" Edward stories posted in the past, but none were able to hold my attention like "Beautiful Savage."

Vampiremama's writing is so visual. I can picture myself in her story, in the woods, with Edward. And that is what I love about any story, seeing myself in the story. The mark of a gifted writer.

The story starts out with a not so wilting violet Bella, she is feisty and head strong. She knows what she wants, she just isn't sure how to go about it. She is also a little lost in life. She has a boyfriend, Ben, her first love and she has friends, but they don't really seem like friends to me.
