His eyes jumped out at her first. Intense and dark, so much that at first glance, one would probably just assume his eyes were brown, but they were in fact green. His eyelashes were long and curled in a way that any woman would be jealous of. His face was tanned and covered in a thick beard that was almost a burgundy color. His hair, although dirty, was a color that Bella had never seen before. Not quite red and not quite golden, it couldn't be called anything but bronze. Then her eyes shifted down his neck, and she found herself gasping again. He was naked. He was naked and he was pressing his face to hers, rubbing his dusty cheek against hers and then down the back of her neck, locking them together at the crook.

When I stumbled across this story, I was enthralled, yes, enthralled. There have been some "wild man" Edward stories posted in the past, but none were able to hold my attention like "Beautiful Savage."

Vampiremama's writing is so visual. I can picture myself in her story, in the woods, with Edward. And that is what I love about any story, seeing myself in the story. The mark of a gifted writer.

The story starts out with a not so wilting violet Bella, she is feisty and head strong. She knows what she wants, she just isn't sure how to go about it. She is also a little lost in life. She has a boyfriend, Ben, her first love and she has friends, but they don't really seem like friends to me.

She goes on a camping trip, something she loves doing, with Ben. The evening doesn't go quite as planned for Ben who was hoping the weekend might be the weekend they finally have sex. Bella was not ready and Ben's approach was a bit aggressive. This leads Bella to run from him, escaping in to the forest, at night. And this is where she encounters Edward and the wolf pack he lives with, who raised him.

"Beautiful Savage" takes off from there. Bella's encounters with the wolves and the mysterious Edward, Savageward to those of us who love him.

This is definitely a story you want to read. So unlike any other wild man story and one you will become immediately hooked on. I know I was. Vampiremama is a consistent updater who even gives out teasers with reviews, you can't beat that!

Bella couldn't help but compare the situation to the one she'd had with Ben the previous night. Both men's intentions were the same but Edward didn't know better, and maybe that should have scared her more, but she found herself nowhere near as terrified as she had been with Ben. She wondered if it was the trust she had given Ben. He broke it, but Edward hadn't broken anything, he just hadn't been taught. He was one of his wolves, and they didn't court. Who knew if Edward had ever seen a woman before, if this was his first attempt at being able to mate ever? Bella was actually very impressed with his restraint. That alone gave her the trust in Edward that Ben had so willingly tossed away.

Be sure to stay tuned. Tomorrow is Credoroza's interview with Savageward!
