I recently came up with idea of “Pursuing the VStaff” because I believe you should know a little bit about us—those who are finding and sharing fics with you. The Fandom should know a little about who’s interviewing them too, right? So, meet our full-time Pursuer, CareMarie ...

RSoup: *smiles* Tell us a little bit about you.
CareMarie: Well let's see. I'm 23. I have been raised on a farm in bum fucked Egypt Nebraska. I love animals as my four dogs – Copenhagen, Garth, Hallie & Tito, four horses – Sunny, Gracie, Chevy, and Zoey, and a chinchilla – Crackphene, which is the only name I can come up with, and six gerbils. Yes, I do use my horses in my stories. When I'm not writing FF, I can be found working out in the barn or with horses. If it's during the summer, I'm usually on the rode doin' rodeo or horse shows. My husband, Justin, and I have been married going on 4 years *scratches head* Holy shit, I didn't realize it has been that short. *cough* *RSoup laughs*I am working on getting my major in AgriBusiness, and yes, when people ask me why I want this major, I do want to bitch slap them. I live in a Agricultural state, so question is, why aren't you getting one? WAIT! No don't, ‘cuz if you did, when I was done with my major I couldn't get a good paying job. And let's face it, I need it with all my critters.

RSoup: *chuckles* Why did you want to become a part of The LUV’NV staff?
CareMarie: I was having some problems with the sites my stories were on, so I was looking for a new place to put them. I was also looking for something... new? Since moving over here though, I've talked to a lot of really nice people, and even found some relation in the family. *Hugs Raina*

Riotanthem: Raleigh. 19. California Girl (<- took that off my FFn page). *laughs* Four things you should be aware: I'm snarky, a perv, have - as my aunt says - 'foul languageeee' and have the habit to become INSANE. I love Jasper (he's mighty fiiine! *winks* Sweets are my favorite thing to eat. I could eat 'em all day and all night. Biggest flaw: tend to do everything by myself. I just find it easier *shrugs* Psst...by the way, I have pictures of everyone under my bed, especially Jasper ;) So, play nice!

CareMarie: How did you get introduced into Fan Fiction?
Riotanthem: Just stumbled my way into the community when my friend gave me a Twilight book. Got addicted so I decided to surf the internet for the second book when my saw FFn. The rest is, as they say, history...

CareMarie: Do you remember the first story you read?
Riotanthem: God, no! That was so long ago that dinos weren't even walking on Earth.

CareMarie: Is there a story behind your pen name?
Riotanthem: *Laughs* Yes, there is. It was late one April. My friends and I were incredibly drunk, and what do drunk people do - aside from sex? Well, they go karaoke-ing! It was finally my turn to sing as loud and as awful as I could. Silly drunk lil me accidentally pressed the song for the national anthem (I know, I know. I was surprised they even had that song too) but I didn't care. According to my friends, I was singing so bad and so loud that someone that worked at the place came in and told me to tone it down. I started yelling say 'You don't tell me what to do! I paid so go fuck off dude!' before I said ' OMG! My mic! Where the fuck is the mic!?" I started panicking and made a 'riot' when I had the mic in my hand & was yelling into it. Hence, Riotanthem. Our beautiful anthem was trashed 'cause of a drunk girl. *headdesk*

Beckie-Louise: I'm 19 years old, currently an apprentice administrator for a housing association in Chippenham, UK. I'm currently writing two fanfics, a novel as well as do a qualification in Business Administration and Customer Service.

CareMarie: Why did you decide to become part of The LUV’NV?
Beckie-Louise: To get more involved in the Fandom, and it’s a chance to try something new.

CareMarie: How did you get introduced into Fan Fiction?
Beckie-Louise: Through my childhood friend Sobriquett.

CareMarie: Do you remember the first story you read?
Beckie-Louise: Nope. I wish I did though.

Hello, everyone! Though CareMarie is doing the Staff Pursuits, I had to do the interview for this staff member. Even before she become a part of the site, I "reserved" the right to interview her. It just had to be me, and I'm absolutely giddy to share it with all of you. She's my favorite author—the one writer I don't even have to think to scream "I love her!" at the top of my lungs because it just slips right out.

I'm talking about wonderwoundedhearers, the talented author of the fan-fucking-tastic stories The Subtle Grace of Gravity (Peter & Bella), Broken Moonlight (Jasper & Bella), and 101 Tales of Love, Lust and Desire. She has so many more, including Aro & Bella fics, a Demetri & Bella one shot, and a ton of non-TwiFics.

But my all-time favorite—the fic that made me fall in love with someone I never imagined I would, thus inspiring me to write my own fic of that pairing—is her story Crimson Starlight, Caius & Bella.

RSoup: Tell us a little bit about you.
Wonder: I’m an eighteen-year-old full-time student at a University in the UK, studying for a degree in Psychology – it’s murder, but so worth it *winks* I love watching films and TV, drawing, listening to music, reading, and going out to do mad shizzle with my friends in my spare time. I have my lip pierced, my ear cartilage pierced, my ears pierced, and my belly-button pierced, and soon I’m hoping to get a tattoo of my own design. Finally, I have a soft-spot for horror movies and chicken and bacon sandwiches.

RSoup: Why did you want to become a part of The LUV’NV?
Wonder: Apart from its excellent taste ((;) *RSoup snickers* I really like what it stands for – it’s not your run-of-the-mill, everyday TwiCommunity; it’s got a mix of writers, fics, goodies…etc., etc…. And it supports one of my favourite ideas – to love the unloved.

RSoup: Is there a story behind your pen name?
Wonder: My penname’s taken from this quote, which is taken from Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ – this scene is my favourite in the play and when I first started writing FF I was studying it in my English class. I just think it’s beautiful.

CareMarie: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Arianna-Janae: I’m a 28 year old mother of two. My daughter, Kathryn, is eight. My son, Evan, is six months. (Yes, you read that correctly, they are eight years apart) I am currently a stay-at-home Mom, but one day I’ll have to return to my job as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.*sad face* In addition to my kids and my job, I enjoy writing (obviously), reading (who knew?), drawing, painting, and playing the violin in my mountains of free time.*snicker* Free time? What is that?

CareMarie: How did you get introduced into Fan Fiction?
Arianna-Janae: I started writing Neverending Night for my own benefit because I felt that BD left so many questions unanswered. Four chapters in, my husband told me to search out Twilight fan fiction. That was just over a year ago.

CareMarie: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
RSoup: I’m 27 years old and I have three wonderful kids. Greg—or as we call him “Goose” is four, Roslyn is two, and Gabriel is one. I was born on a military base, was a military brat, and I am now a military wife. *snickers* So, I guess I’m still a military brat. I grew up all over the place, but Japan is my favorite country. *Points to everyone*, you should all go—even before Europe! I was in Japan for seven years, through high school, and a few years after; it was so fucking awesome, especially the food. Being a military brat really helped me appreciate every culture and all history. I’m also really into designing; whether it’s designing a site, refurbishing and creating furniture, interior designing, painting and graphics in general, or any and all architectural designing—*laughs*—just designing period. I didn’t get to finish my major in Architectural Design because I wanted to stay home with my son, and I probably won’t major in it now, but I just love creating something from scratch and designing to make that something entirely unique.

CareMarie: You’re the creator – the “VSire” – of this site, The LUV’NV, tell us why did you created it.
RSoup: *laughs* There are a few reasons. One, I was tired of having to go through the “Featured Stories” list on sites. You have to click on each story to know the story summary, the pairing, etc. It’s tedious. I was looking for good fics that had specific non-canon pairings, and I wanted to find a fic it easily, but it essentially wasn't.

Two, I’m tired of Jasper and Bella, or even Edward and Bella. *giggles with her hands up in defense*

Three, I love The Twilight Awards site, and though they’ve recently changed it, you used to have to scroll down the long list of fics, and it's always with the newest fic on top. Again, it can be tedious. The same applies to FanFiction.net or Twilighted.net; I can search for certain characters and pairings, but I always asked myself, “Is it good? Or am I just going to be disappointed?’ *chuckles and shakes her head*

I know authors can’t please everyone, but personally, I have hard time reading and getting into fics that are grammatically incorrect to the extreme. I think obvious mistakes, especially a lot of mistakes, can mess up the flow of a story, so I move on. I want The LUV’NV to be a source of good, well-written fics. I created it so that anyone could easily find a fic by pairing, category, etc. including the summary, all that story’s media, and anything to do with that author. Now, the Fandom has one.
