*** Chapter 64 Teaser ***
Paul's voice cuts through the steam clouding the front of my brain. "Really, man?"
The spotted wolf beside Paul nudges him. "Don't bother. Jake knows what he's doing."
Paul scoffs, growling lowly and shoving Embry aside. "What the hell are you trying to prove? Yeah, I'm talking to you, Black."
The challenge in Paul's tone strikes a nerve. Jacob rumbles warningly, falling into a crouch. The curves of his teeth bare, skin pulling back. "Can it, Paul. It's time to go."
"I ain't goin' anywhere!" Paul fumes, a light of anger growing in his eyes. "I'm not gonna move outta this damn spot until this shit stops. God, are you fucking blind? Maybe you wouldn't have to even put any pack brothers in the ground if you would open up your ears for two damn seconds and treat your beta like she's worth more than a fucking pushover to piss on."
Seth whines, taking a step backwards. "C'mon, guys. We can settle this without any fighting, right? S'okay, no need to let anybody get hurt . . . Please?"
A quiver trembles in Jacob's shoulders. His hackles raise, and he doesn't look away, not even for a second. Paul shows the rows of daggers in his jaws, still as stone in his place. The russet wolf pushes his weight forward, his chest heaving with each hot breath. "And what gives you the right to think that? What gives you the right to think that any wolf in this pack is treated in any way other than the way they deserve to be?"
Paul takes a sudden advance, crunching a paw into the ground below him, the shadows pulling back from his hulking grey shape. A rippling wave of rock-hard frustration slams into Jacob's mind from his, carrying the raised shout of his voice. "Damn you! Damn you, for letting that fucker make Jordan any less than she is! Damn you, and the dumb, heartless bitch that ever made you think she was any less than anybody!"
Jacob's body turns to stone, his blood chilling. There's a heartbeat of silence before he bursts back to life, his thoughts roaring. "What did you just call her?"
"Oooh, yeah, you hear me now, Black!" Paul chortles sourly, his tongue rolling over his dripping teeth as he prowls into the shortening space between himself and the tremoring alpha. "I said it. Dumb. Heartless. Bi-!"

*** Chapter 13 Teaser ***
Emmett was lying on the rooftop, watching the stars twinkle over the Cullen’s home in Hanover, New Jersey. He’d run a perimeter check only an hour before, but found no new scents around the Cullen property.
When three sets of footfalls reached his ears, the bored vampire smiled. “About time.” He hopped down from his post and quickly went inside to knock on the hidden laboratory door. “They’re here.”
The door swung open, revealing Carlisle and a very tense-looking Edward.
Emmett clapped his brother on the shoulder. “Edward, relax. Peter said he’s a nice zombie.”
“A nice zombie.” Edward ran his hand through his hair. “Do you hear how ridiculous you sound?” Thinking of his daughter, he grew agitated. “That thing is never to be left alone—not for a moment.”
Once outside, the three vampires turned to the sound of their approaching guests.
Carlisle’s gaze slid to his oldest son. “He’s our guest and here of his own accord. Let’s try to be civil. Give him the benefit of the doubt unless he proves otherwise.”
Recalling the video that dragged his family into the whole mess, Emmett’s expression turned hard. “But, he stays here and not at the house, right?”
“Yes.”
Summary: Journalist Bella Swan is assigned to work with the new guy, Jacob Black, on her own entertainment column. There is no way she can turn it down; it's the dream of a lifetime. However, Bella didn't bargain for the beautiful man she would work with, nor Edward—the sexy lead singer of the band they are to follow. Will she fly or come crashing down?
*** Chapter 11 Wicked Teaser ***
His long fingers moved loose strands of hair off my face, and he leaned in to whisper in my ear once again. “I know what you want,” he said. His voice was everything erotic and sensual. “I see it every time you look at me, Isabella.”
I felt my eyes rolling back as my eyelids fluttered closed. I longed for more than just his hot, moist breath ghosting over my ear and cheek; I wanted him touching me, kissing me, pressing me up against the wall and having his way with me.
”Can’t you admit that you like me too?”
what a tease. thanks for sharing.
